the end of 2008...

Well 2008 was an interesting year for us! some of the highlights - new Dodge Caravan, our first family roadtrip to Phx, Ryan and Courtney's first anniversary, Ryleigh turned one with a great big party, new Chrysler Town & Country (to replace the totalled Caravan!), Kristin's TCU graduation, moved into our first house, I started online classes to finish my degree at UMUC, my Girls' Trip to Denver, 4th of July in Corpus at the beach, Ryleigh's cyst miraculously disappearing, our Halloween Party, Stephi coming to visit us, and all the mundane everyday wonderful things in between! whew! We look forward to another year of our 'never a dull moment' life! Now here are a few pics from the last few days of '08...

It was suspiciously quiet, so I went on a search for Ryleigh, and I found her in her chair with a contraband lollipop she must have stashed long ago! sneaky!!!

For New Years' Eve we had people over for fondue night! Us girls were determined to get dressed up, even if we had no where to go! lol! after a few pictures we all changed into jammies and played Apples to Apples and chowed down all night long! It was a lot of fun! And we even managed to stay awake to ring in the New Year! Happy 2009!!!!

And in case anyone is wondering, here are the Hemperly Family's New Year's Resolutions:

Courtney - no more even the occasional cigarette, get back to eating healthy (including cutting back on Diet Coke), and scrap at least three pages a week!

Ryan - eating healthy!

Ryleigh - binky at naptime, bedtime, and in the car only!

In other news, we are still looking for a mini labradoodle or goldendoodle puppy to add to our family! If anyone knows of any breeders or anyone who has one available, please let us know! They are hard to find!
