Marley was a saint compared to our dog...
So ya wanna know what Dallas (a.k.a Damn Dog, Rosemary's Dog, or NOOOOO!) did today? Of course after this week's stunt of breaking out of her crate and shredding (oh yeah, feathers everywhere! took two hours to clean up and resulted in massive allergies all week!) my wonderful down comforter, pillows, and phone charger... yeah, I thought that was as bad as it could get until we went to Petsmart today!
After her grooming appointment they informed me that she has now been labeled as "extra assistance required". See, apparently she freaked out so badly that it took two extra groomers to control her. This means that from now on I have to pay a $15 surcharge for every service! Nice! Oh and that's not the worst part folks! As I was trying to haul Dallas out the door, she took off after a Saint Bernard halfway across the store and drug me straight into a huge display case which I slammed into full force! Yeah! All the employees come rushing over and the manager comes out to make sure I don't need them to call for medical assistance! Soooo embaressing! I am sure that store's surveillance video is being replayed over and over as the employees laugh hysterically at the idiot who can't control her dog! And I feel like I got hit by a train, I'm sore all over! argh!!!!!!!
In other news - Roo and I are driving to Gilbert ("Nuh-Zona") tmrw to visit Grammy and Grampy! Roo is soooo excited about Great GrMa Rita's birthday too, she has been singing the birthday song non-stop (although is starts out a lot like the straw bu buh buh buh berry song then kinda segues into happy birthday to you... it's the remix!) and won't stop asking me "GrMa Rita's birthday today?" every morning when she wakes up! lol!
I also start my online classes tmrw and I am soooo excited for this semester after reading through each syllabus, I think these classes are right up my alley! woohooo no more math or science!!!!
Well, thanks for the insomnia outlet, think I better go lay down - we have a big day tmrw! Six hours in the car with Ryleigh and Dallas - *sigh* - yeah, I'm tired just thinking about it!

not much new here...
I haven't updated much lately since we've mostly been laying around trying to stay air conditioned! Remind me again why I wanted to move to the desert in the middle of summer?! lol! So no new pics, but I promise I'll get some tmrw when we go to the pool for playgroup! We've been getting to know the area a little better around here and have made some new friends too! Yay! I'm still constantly tweaking things around the house, there's still a lot to do decoration wise, and we also have "wish list" projects that we'd love to do but keep putting off! Maybe the House Fairy will come re-do our kitchen cabinets, landscape the backyard, and install the doggy door while we're sleeping?! Ryan is back to work and seems much happier with his career these days! Ryleigh is officially potty trained and our next project is to start learning to read (i.e. what letters make what sounds, etc. I'm not pushing the child to be a super genius or anything!)
Roo and I will be going to Gilbert to visit Grammy and Grampy from the 17th to the 26th of this month and are looking forward to some pool time and playing with the fam! I start three more classes this semester, and if I can keep up this pace it looks like I'll FINALLY graduate next fall! woohooo!!!!!
let's see, what else is new..... oh, product reviews! My absolute favorite thing lately is my Blackberry Curve (the pink one of course), it really is a "crackberry"! I am sooo addicted to being able to check my email and Facebook instantly no matter where I am (like in a long line at the grocery store!) I love love love my new phone! Ooh, and The Furminator dog de-shedding thingy is GREAT, works like a miracle! I am noticing a major reduction in flying fur around the house and most especially on the chocolate brown sofa! I'm so glad we got a labradoodle b/c they don't shed... wait.... nevermind! On the other hand, the Ped-Egg STINKS! Two thumbs down for this budget pedi tool, it shredded my feet and made the snagging-on-the-sheets issue even worse! So don't waste your money on the creepy cheese grater for your feet!
Ok, now that I've bored you to death with the mundane-ness of our life I bet y'all won't be guilt-tripping me into posting more often anymore, will you???? hee hee hee!

We're ALIVE!!!!!!!
Sorry we've been MIA for a lonnnngggg time! Moving has been super hectic! I just tried to upload a few pics, but for some reason my laptop is having issues and keeps shutting the window down. argh!!! So glad I'm married to a computer geek who will try and solve that problem for me - as soon as he finishes the rest of his Honey Do list! lol! Anyway, for now you will just have to make do with a photo free update! Let's see... what's happened since the end of May.....
Ryan's promotion ceremony was really nice, he is now a Captain in the USAF and we are all so proud of him! He even got a special commendation medal for his work while stationed at Lackland! Special thanks to all our family who were here to attend the pinning on - Ryan's parents and grandparents, my GrMa & GrDaddy... we were a whole entourage!!!
Then came our Casino Night party, which was sooooooooo much fun! We had a full house of friends and family who gave us such a special send off - we ate some great BBQ, played some poker, and sang karaoke all night! I have some hysterical pictures I'll have to share later, so stay tuned! We are so blessed to have made such amazing friends while in San Antonio, and we already miss them so much!
The very next week my parents took Ryleigh with them to PHX while Ryan and I packed up the house and got ready to move! The movers came on the 9th and we left the 10th, taking our time along the drive enjoying some "us" time! We stopped at a lot of silly road side attractions and made some hysterical memories! I've posted a bunch of pics on my Facebook page, but it would take so long to get them on here!
We arrived in PHX on the 11th and spent a short week at Mom & Dad's laying out by the pool and resting up!
Then on the 18th Ryan and I headed out to Henderson to supposedly close on the house the next day........ long story short: we FINALLY closed on the 23rd!
The BEFORE pics of the house are on my Facebook page as well, I might get them on here eventually! Getting the house prepped has been so exhausting! We wanted to at least have the walls painted and mostly unpacked before Mom & Dad brought Ryleigh and Dallas out, so we worked like maniacs! We got most of it done (I decided painting the guest bedroom and our bedroom would have to wait a few months! I'm sick of painting!), so I'll have the AFTER picks posted soon!
We LOVE our new house and neighborhood! We've met some great neighbors (the house next door is on the market; pray we get a cool young family moving in!!), and have awesome parks right around the corner! We have a gorgeous sunset view from our front porch, and can be found out there most evenings with Roo riding around in her cozy coupe while Dallas tries to sneak and eat the bushes! "Damn dog"!
Ryleigh starts swim lessons tmrw morning and then on Saturday she starts dance!! I am so excited! She has the cutest little leotard and tutu and has already been practicing "shuffle" and "spin"! She's a natural! I'm looking for a good playgroup to join so we can make some new friends soon! I miss my mommy friends so much!
Well, that's about all I can fill ya in on right now, I've gotta get some more of the closet unpacked before I fall asleep!
A few "Roo-isms" before I go...
"Mommy where those flower-works go?" - on the 5th of July
me: "If you want applesauce for dessert you have to eat three more bites of chicken"
Roo: "hmmm. let me think" (while tapping her chin)
"Mommy I wike Ryleigh new house. I wike you too. And I wove Dallas."
and finally...
before bedtime tonight she got in trouble for throwing water out of the bath tub and laughing about it and she turned to me with the saddest look on her face and said " oh no. where my Boppy go?!" (Bobby is my Dad, who lets her get away with murder!)
TTYL folks! And remember - what happens in Vegas... will be blogged about by ME! mwah ha ha ha!

Happy Memorial Day weekend!!
Our poor doggy Dallas is on the mend this weekend after jumping out of the bed of my dad's truck Friday night and getting run over. I have to say, only a dog as crazy and strong as Dallas could survive a suicide jump like that! We are very thankful to everyone for their prayers! She has a broken pelvis but is already up and walking and being weaned off the pain killers. Poor Grammy and Grampy have been through so much trauma with her now, I am sure they will never want to watch our dumb doggy again! Mom & Dad: we promise our daughter is smarter than our dog, and should be MUCH easier to babysit!
In other news...
We are down in Corpus Christi for the weekend visiting Bette and Bob! MawMaw, Uncle Jordan, and his girlfriend Jessica drove down for the day to join us at the beach! We had a great day! Here are a bunch of pics!!
